Kelana Jaya Lakes is one of the prominent urban lakes in Selangor, Malaysia. Located in Damansara River Basin, the lakes were developed as Public Park that provides tranquillity and enjoyment to people from all walks of life from hustle and bustle of city life. The Kelana Jaya Lakes are ex-mining ponds in the Sg Damansara River Basin in Selangor managed by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ). They were initially managed solely as flood retention areas until they were developed as a public park in 1996. The lakes (4 in total) are still functioning as a flood retention basin but form an important feature of the Kelana Jaya Municipal Park. The lakes are also a popular spot for anglers.
