Subang International Airport Opened

Subang International Airport, also known as Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SAAS Airport), was officially opened in Subang (Selangor, Malaysia) by Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Dipertuan Agong, Tuanku Syed Putra Ibni al Marhum Syed Hassan Jamalullail. It has the the longest runway (3.7 km long, 45m wide – runway 15 – 33) in Southeast Asia. It replaces the current international Kuala Lumpur Airport at Sungai Besi.
